| I don't know how the breeds and varieties work in other places, (the ones in the US are hard enough to keep straight XD) but Peruvian Satin is the breed, and Himalayan would be the variety. In the US there are the following (separate) breeds; Abyssinain Abyssinian Satin American American Satin Coronet Peruvian Peruvian Satin Silkie Silkie Satin Teddy Teddy Satin Texel White Crested Each of these breeds come in different varieties. Think breeds = coat type/characteristics, variety = color/markings. It's very confusing at first And then just when you think you've got them all memorized they add new ones I have photos of all the breeds and varieties listed on my website, if you want me to post a link. And yes, he is very gorgeous -Amanda Storybook Cavies | |

| admin - Please feel free to delete this post/reply entirely now as you had already edited/removed the relevant content
Ive noticed it was edited by admin to removed most of the content of this post. All it has done is removed the only information as to why this reply was even made. Even though the problem may have been "fixed" did the comment I made really have to be edited/removed?
that was the reason I made the reply - so no need to have what other small comment I made (which you left) remain here.
Matt

| Daughtered moved to her new apartment yesterday, and one of the movers had a coronet. I asked if he had any pigtures, but no. He stopped to see my babies, and say "hi" to them, though. That is a gorgeous piggy. Ooh, to have hair like that, lol!! | |
