| CORONET The coronet is like a cross between a sheltie and a crested in that it has long straight hair but has a crest on the forehead. | |

| OMG!! what a beautiful hair, sure it is ok to post the pictures here your're showing your cavies breeds. I love their hair. I have a long haired piggy, but their previous owners used to cut his hair so I'm waiting for it to grow | |

| Thank you! They are a lot of fun, but they are a LOT of work, especially to groom (this sounds funny, but it takes about 45 minutes to completely blow-dry one after a bath, and if you don't blow-dry them, they don't get dry!). The ones I don't show I keep clipped, it prevents hassle for the both of us That is, for the ones who don't already chew their own coats... I've had a few naughties do that recently, and it completely ruins their coat. They have everything they need, so it's just a naughty habit they have. Dawn, your piggy is very pretty. I don't think I've ever seen one that color before (except in the example photo) - is he/she a cream or a cream roan? -Amanda Storybook Cavies | |
